Vendor leads/information for butterfly valves with a system design of 2300F at 5 PSIG and operating at 1600F at 3 PSIG?  The existing valve is an Everest water cooled design that has failed, cracks in the wafer sealing area and with leaks in the water cooling system.  The exisitng valves are 10" 150lb ANSI flange design.
Consider using a refractory lined slide valve or a Tyco Vannessa valve (ie. triple offset buterfly).
I Have used ceramic valves on hot gas duty in the past.
