M-type butterfly valve structure and working principle
"M"-type butterfly valve structure is simple, it is a single eccentric soft seal butterfly valve, equipped with two-stage stem from top to bottom, disc surface is coated with sealing glue layer, on the disc two ends sealing surface is designed to "M "shape, so that formed double sealing between the disc and body, between the "M" shaped layer will seal air, which will make the sealing to be more effective. The valve is mainly composed by the valve body, upper and lower stem, all-inclusive plastic disc, internal thread cylinder pin and other components. The structure shown in Figure 1.
When open the valve, using wrench counter-clockwise slowly rotating the upper part square tenon of the main stem, so that disc is perpendicular to flange surface, when the valve is closed, using wrench clockwise slowly rotating the upper part square tenon of the main stem, so that disc is parallel to flange surface.
M-type butterfly valve assembly method
When Assembly, using kerosene to clean all the parts, first move the disc to the body, in the main, deputy stem (HotTag) surface coated with silicone grease, installed Circlips 2 and the "O" ring 4, makes it connect with the disc inner hole, and then tapping disc with rubber hammer, so it is completely embedded in the valve body, matched with internal thread cylindrical pin 5, after the water test is completed, inpouring the liquid sealant on the upper end of the pin.

"M"-type butterfly valve designs "M" shape on the sealing surfaces of both ends of disc (see the enlarge picture in Figure 1), forming a double seal when sealed with the valve body, effectively solves the sealing surface wear and tear problems in the valve hoist process, with long service life, coupled with the valve using the upper and lower two-stage stem, single eccentric structure, increasing the valve flow area, water head loss and operating torque is smaller than the same specifications of ordinary butterfly valve.
Disc with a whole package of glue, without pollute the water, and protects the disc, especially for food and beverage industry. The connection of stem and disc adopts the inner threaded cylindrical pin, pin end is filled with liquid sealant, in the actual use, the demolition and maintenance is very convenient, the producting costs are also lower.
